Here is my ottoman reupholstry tutorial.
Then pull the staples from the next fabric piece
Flip rightside up
At this point, take your old fabric pieces apart and cut new using the old as a pattern and then sew them back together. Fit on the top piece of new fabric, pull down tight and staple.
Now fit second piece of fabric rightsides together and attach using the cardboard strip.
Now reattach your batting or foam, then pull down fabric and staple to the bottom.
Now staple on the new bottom fabric.
Reattach the feet...
And you're done!

I got this ottoman from the side of the road. It's great, just dirty! The fabric was on clearance and cost me a whopping 3 bucks...
What you need is:
Fabric-I used 2 yards and had enough for some pillows
Staple gun/staples
Needle nose pliers
Flat head screwdriver or tack puller
Sewing machine and thread
Scissors
First up, flip that thing over and unscrew the feet, then pull out the staples from the bottom fabric. Then pull out the staples from the rest of the bottom.
Flip the fabric down and pull the staples out of the batting or foam and from the cardboard strip. Then pull the staples from the next fabric piece
Flip rightside up
